Meet the Team

The cast and crew of Horned Frogs

Nick Cassidy

Founder

Growing up a movie-lover in Maine, Nick would enlist friends and family to help him make his own short films. These films were shot on his mini dv camera, edited in iMovie, burned onto DVDs, and distributed to his extended family and people in his neighborhood. Running this one-kid home movie studio, along with getting a first-rate film education from his father, cemented Nick's passion for movies and informed his decision to pursue acting and filmmaking as a career.

After graduating from high school in Los Angeles, he went through the intensive two-year Meisner training program at the Baron Brown Acting Studio in Santa Monica, during which he landed his first talent agent. In the years since, Nick has acted in several television productions, playing pivotal recurring roles in Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists on ABC's Freeform Network and The Girl in the Woods on NBC's Peacock streaming platform. He's also had memorable guest star parts in S.W.A.T. and NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS.

In his early twenties, Nick and his cousin David began co-directing original short films (including a trilogy of ambitious one-takes) before deciding to leap to feature filmmaking with the one-location thriller, Fallen Drive. Nick truly came full circle when, in addition to co-writing/directing and starring in Fallen Drive, he also produced under his new production company banner, studio92.

Nick plans to continue making movies with his family and friends until he's old and gray.

Cash Cassidy

Co-founder

Cash grew up in southern Maine, where he enrolled in various classes and workshops in video production through South Portland High School, the University of Southern Maine, and the Maine Film Association. He worked as a videographer for the city and directed community television shows at the Portland Media Center, all while creating original content of his own, which he released (and still releases) on his YouTube channel.

In August 2020, fresh out of high school, Cash moved to Los Angeles to help get Fallen Drive off the ground and see it through production. After the film wrapped, he continued his education with a year at Loyola Marymount University, counseled at a summer camp in Missouri, and spent a year at the American University in Bulgaria.

Cash found himself back in Los Angeles after a road trip with his buddy Yams in a renovated bus named Brewtus. Now, he'll get to work on the next studio92 film: Mischief Night.

In addition to filmmaking, Cash writes rap songs, embarks on adventures, and (apparently) builds beautiful websites (ahem).
